25-year-old editor for Reason magazine in DC. So all my typos and lazy sentences here are particularly shameful. And yes, it's also embarrassing how much I love my job and how much my co-workers entertain me.

I am now tweet-debating someone who means well, but thinks that booing John Bolton “gave him the high ground.” Bolton is in favor of Vietnam, bombing Iran, and the NDAA. Booing is…a sound.  After the NDAA comment, though, the crowd had an icy silence. Maybe that’s more effective. And it’s not like Bolton was prevented from speaking. Booing is just like opposite-applause.   And God it was satisfying to flip off Bolton from my seat. I can’t wait to see how they edit the show.
