25-year-old editor for Reason magazine in DC. So all my typos and lazy sentences here are particularly shameful. And yes, it's also embarrassing how much I love my job and how much my co-workers entertain me.
Many -- but certainly not all -- photos here by me. Interests include anarchism, libertarianism, photography, punk rock, old time, history, journalism, poetry, the band Old Crow Medicine Show, magazines, travel, Americana, war, anti-war, the demise of politics, and freedom.

Football is going on somewhere

I am cleaning my gross house and switching between “Gilmore Girls” and Ken Burns’ Civil War documentary.

Also stopped rewatching “True Grit” because it was too awesome to not give my full attention. Need to finish rewatching “Papillon” soon as well, since I stopped it for that very reason. (The original 1969 “True Grit” I stopped watching because GIRLS IN 1870 DIDN’T HAVE THAT HAIRCUT EVER GOD DAMN IT.)

Attention span? What?

Remind me on Monday to close all my tabs once in a while. I am fairly certain that I lose at least 50 percent of my productivity due to excessive tabs. I tend to literally forget what I was doing or blogging.
